About Lakene Ostg\u00e5rd<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

Ostg\u00e5rd means something like “cheese farm”. <\/span><\/p>\n

Lakene Ostg\u00e5rd has been in Swiss hands since September 2021. Swiss making Dutch cheese in Sweden – an international treat!<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

Not only the cheese is known here. In summer our farm caf\u00e9 is open, where our guests can enjoy homemade ice cream in addition to cheese. Then it is a little livelier with us, but in the other seasons a little quieter. However, our guest house can be rented all year round. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our concern is that our guests from near and far feel comfortable with us. Hospitality is very important to us. We do everything we can to ensure that our visitors enjoy being here and are happy to come back. That they find what they are looking for – culinary delights and a place of well-being in the middle of the beautiful nature of V\u00e4rmland. <\/span><\/p>\n

The landscape is characterized by the majestic flowing Klar\u00e4lven, which carries the meltwater from the Norwegian and Swedish mountain regions south to Lake V\u00e4nern. Everywhere you can fish, row, pick mushrooms and berries or meet the wild animals of the north.<\/span><\/p>\n

You forget that you can quickly reach Karlstad or Oslo on the long-distance roads, and Gothenburg is only 4 hours away. So there are plenty of opportunities to land here in the middle of the Wildmark within 1 to 4 hours from the ferry or airport.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cozy guest house has a large, bright kitchen, 2 Wc’s with shower, max. Sleeps 8 and can be rented easily throughout the year thanks to the new modern heating system.<\/p>\n
